In the busy workday life, we always long for a moment of leisure, escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and embrace nature. The team building outing organized by the company this time is like a timely rain, nourishing our tired souls.
In the early morning, the sun shines gently on the earth, and we head towards our destination with expectation and excitement. Along the way, the car was full of laughter and joy. The serious colleagues on weekdays became particularly friendly at this moment. Everyone exchanged interesting stories and shared life. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
Arriving at the park in the suburbs, the fresh air hit us. It was a unique smell mixed with the fragrance of soil and flowers and plants, which instantly refreshed people. The tender green grass was soft like a carpet, and colorful wild flowers were dotted. The undulating mountains not far away contrasted with the blue sky and white clouds, like a beautiful painting.
The team-building activity started with a fun picnic. Colleagues took out the prepared snacks. The mat was soon filled with sandwiches, fruits, meats, etc. We sat together, enjoying the time and sharing the bits and pieces of life. The pressure at work disappeared at this moment.
During the free activities, everyone found their own fun. Some people strolled in the woods, feeling the breeze; some people walked around the grass, laughing and talking; and some people drawing to record this moments. I walked along the lake with several colleagues. The lake was clear and sparkling. Occasionally, ducks swam by, rippling layers of water, and we were all happy.
Unconsciously, the sun gradually set in the west, and our team-building outing activity was coming to an end. This activity not only brought us close to nature and relaxed our bodies and minds, but also enhanced the feelings between colleagues and strengthened the cohesion of our team.
