Epoxy Coated Steel Strand can be produced in our factory as per China National Standard GB/T21073.
Epoxy coated steel strand includes filled epoxy-coated strand and epoxy-coated strand.
The filled epoxy coated steel strand is a seven wire prestressed steel strand with an outer layer coated with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating, and the gaps between the steel wires completely filled with the fusion-bonded epoxy coating.
The designation code is FECS . The initial load is loaded to 70% of the nominal maximum force and after 1000 hours, the stress relaxation lose is no more than 6.5%
Coated epoxy coated steel strand is a seven wire pre-stressed steel strand coated on the surface by fusion-bonded epoxy coating.
The designation code is ECS . The initial load is loaded to 70% of the nominal maximum force and after 1000 hours, the stress relaxation lose is no more than 4%

After curing, the coating is free of holes, voids, cracks and damaged areas discernible to a person with normal or corrected vision.
Continuous holiday detection of the coated strand is performed. More than two holidays per 30 m are not allowed in our producing. Two holidays or less per 30 m will be repaired in accordance with the sealing material.
No cracking or disbonding of the coating is visible in bend test and tensile test.
-What makes this product different to other factory's Epoxy Coated Steel Strand?
Before coating, the surface of the prestressed steel strand is purified and the purification quality is higher than the Sa2.5 level specified in the standard GB/T8923
While maintaining the surface temperature of the strand, the strand is coated several times in succession to achieve the required coating thickness from the customer.
