3 Ply 3mm HTS Wire is composited with 3 wires , each wire‘s diameter is 3.00 mm.
We produce this specification strictly as per Indian Standard IS 6006 . All specifications we can provide are 2-ply 2mm , 2-ply 3mm, 3-ply 3mm.
The raw material is high carbon steel of such quality that when drawn to suitable round wire sizes and fabricated into proper strand sizes properly stress relieved after stranding.
Raw material contains not more than 0.050 percent of sulphur and not more than 0.050 percent of phosphorus.
The length of lay for the two and three wire strands is uniform throughout and is 24 to 36 times the diameter of element wire.
The wires in the strand are so formed that they donot unravel when the strand is cut and they do not fly out of position when the strand is cut without seizing.
There is no strand joints or strand splices in any length of the completed strand .
After stranding, all strands are subjected to a stress-relieving.
Stress relieving is carried out as a continuous process on a length of strand.
The finished strand is uniform in diameter and is free from injurious flaws and imperfections.
The strand is not oiled or greased.
