Bridge System
Cable-stayed bridge, also known as diagonal bridge, is a type of bridge in which the main beam is directly pulled onto the bridge tower with many cables. It is a structural system composed of a load-bearing tower, tensioned cables, and a bending beam body. It is the most important bridge type for large-span bridges.
ADVANTAGES
The main advantage of this type of cable is that it has at least three layers of anti-corrosion protection. The HDPE outer shell pipe seals and protects each steel strand that makes up the cable; The space between the steel strand and the HDPE protective layer is filled with grease or wax; The coating layer on the surface of the steel strand is anti-corrosion. Steel strands can be replaced with small tensioning equipment without affecting traffic.
USE
1, Anchorage section: It is mainly composed of cable anchors, which transmit the cable tension to the bridge structure through the clips. There are tension end anchors and fixed end anchors. According to needs, one end can be a tension end anchor, the other end can be a fixed end anchor, or both ends can be tension end anchors.
2, Transition section: It consists of a shock absorber, a cable clamp and a waterproof structure.
1) The shock absorber is made of damping rubber and is installed at the outlet of the cable duct to fix the cable to the structure. It is used to reduce the adverse effects of vibration on the inclined cable.
2) The cable clamp gathers the loose steel strands into a tight whole to increase the rigidity of the cable.
3) The waterproof transition device is the part that connects the cable system to the bridge structure, preventing external moisture from entering the cable and playing a sealing and water-stopping role.
3, Free section: Cable body: single stranded steel wire is protected by epoxy steel wire (or galvanized steel wire) + paraffin (or grease) + PE sheath. After multiple parallel braided cables are tightly bundled, the entire bundle is covered with an outer protective HDPE sheath for multi-layer protection.
