The PC spiral rib steel wire is made of high-strength steel wire wound into a spiral shape. The surface is spirally deformed and drawn to form a three-dimensional PC spiral rib structure. The rib height is 0.2-1.0mm, with continuous spiral protrusions, a 60°-80° spiral angle design, and a double helix staggered layout, high-strength, low-relaxation, supply in coil, large-length, low-consumption, PC spiral rib steel wire has strong bond with concrete.

1. Production Process

 

- Raw Material Inspection: inspect raw materials such as high carbon steel wire rods to ensure that the quality meets the requirements.

- Surface Treatment: usually includes pickling, phosphating, etc. to remove surface impurities and improve the surface performance of steel wire.

- Semi-finished Product Drawing: the wire rod is drawn to the required semi-finished product size through the cold drawing process.

- Spiral Rib Drawing: using a special rotating body and spiral die, the semi-finished steel wire is drawn to form spiral ribs.

- Stabilization Treatment: the steel wire is stabilized at 380℃-400℃ to eliminate stress, improve dimensional stability and relaxation performance.

- Wire Collection, Inspection and Acceptance: the treated steel wire is collected, and various performance inspections and acceptances are carried out in accordance with relevant standards.

 

 

2. Performance Characteristics

 

- High Strength: Nominal tensile strength ≥ 1570MPa, which can provide strong prestress for concrete structures.

- Good Bonding Performance: The design of spiral ribs increases the bonding strength between steel wire and concrete, making the two work better together.

- Low Relaxation Performance: The initial force is equivalent to 70% of the actual peak force, and the 1000h stress relaxation rate r/% ≤ 2.5; the initial force is equivalent to 80% of the actual peak force, and the 1000h stress relaxation rate r/% ≤ 4.5.

- Good Straightness: Take a steel wire with a chord length of 1m and place it on a plane. The chord and the inner natural sagittal height are not more than 20mm for all steel wires.

3. Application Fields

 

- Bridge Engineering: used for bridge beams, piers and other structures to improve the bearing capacity and crack resistance of bridges.

- Construction Engineering: can be applied to the foundation of high-rise buildings, roof trusses of large-span buildings, etc., to enhance the stability and durability of the structure.

- Rail Transit: such as railway sleepers, subway tunnels, etc., to help ensure the smoothness and stability of the track and extend its service life.
